Yes, I know...it says 2013...how retro - but book is still worth tracking down (or go for the 2014 version if you're feeling a little more modern). It says "cheat" - it means "hints and tips" - simple as that. You'll get lots of shortcuts and it'll help get your head around using Autodesk Maya.

More modern versions of the book do exist - I've not seen them so my recommendation is, for now, sticking purely to the 2013 (and maybe 2014) versions.
